With its timeless elegance and masterful workmanship, the refined artistry of Seljuk and Ottoman architecture has left an unmistakable mark on cultural heritage—one that continues to resonate on a universal scale. This tradition of craftsmanship is most magnificently expressed through monumental portals, city and palace walls, and the architectural details of mosques and madrasas: courtyards, main entrances, column capitals, minaret balconies, mihrabs, pulpits, fountains, sebils, and ablution fountains. Brought to life through geometric interlaces, intricate knotwork, vegetal ornamentation, animal figures in low and high relief, palmettes, and countless other refined motifs, these arts also found their richest expression beyond architecture in an extraordinary field: tombstones, where stone became the canvas of memory.

Among Anatolia’s most celebrated landmarks of stone craftsmanship stands the Divrigi Great Mosque, a masterpiece where the spirit of stone carving reaches exceptional depth. Here, artisans carved emotions, hopes, joy, sorrow, and pain into stone as if writing poetry or painting—leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire not only today, but also tomorrow. With respect and admiration, this piece pays tribute to the masters and artists of stone craftsmanship, and to the Divrigi Great Mosque itself.

Inspired by the stone relief ornamentation above the entrance portal of the Divrigi Great Mosque, this vase translates the same sculptural language into glass. The relief patterns were also reflected in the natural marble of Sivrihisar, reinforcing the dialogue between architectural heritage and material artistry.

Crafted from handmade smoky green glass, the vase features raised relief motifs meticulously hand-decorated with glass paints, presented with exceptional artisanal hand craftsmanship.
