Shifa Panel - Limited Edition
The word shifa means healing, remedy, and recovery from illness. In Islamic belief, Ash-Shāfī (Şâfî)—“The Healer”—is among the divine attributes of Allah. It is believed that the end of physical and spiritual ailments, recovery from illness, and the removal of what causes harm can only occur by the will of Allah.
On the Shifa Panel, the invocation “Ya Şafi” (“O Healer”) is written nine times, emphasizing prayers for wellbeing and restoration.
The decorative patterns on the panel are inspired by an Ottoman ceramic plate dated to approximately the 1600s, exhibited at the Kütahya Museum. All raised relief motifs on the Shifa Panel are meticulously hand-decorated using 24-carat gold gilding, enriched with color through the enamel technique (mine). The piece is further embellished with enamel beads, adding depth, texture, and brilliance.
