The Ancient City of Nagidos was an important trading center throughout its history and was especially known for the production of olive oil, honey, and wine. In 333 BC, the city was conquered by Alexander the Great, along with the rest of Cilicia. Nagidos remained a significant political and cultural center in antiquity, although today only archaeological remains survive.

Some Nagidos coins featured highly artistic and detailed designs and are regarded as valuable by modern collectors of ancient currency.

This amphora is inspired by the classical two-handled, pointed-base vessels used in antiquity for transporting liquids such as wine and olive oil. Many amphorae excavated in Turkiye are now exhibited in museums across countries including the United States, Germany, Russia, Denmark, Italy, France, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom, reflecting the global presence of this heritage.

Crafted from handmade glass, the amphora features raised relief motifs meticulously hand-decorated using glass paints, showcasing exceptional artisanal craftsmanship.
