Boza, one of the oldest traditional drinks of Turkish culture, is a fermented grain beverage that has historically been made and consumed across the former Ottoman lands as well as parts of Central Asia. In Ottoman Istanbul, boza sellers operating around Ayasofya Bazaar, At Meydanı, Kadırga Harbor, and the Aksaray district were known for their nourishing boza, which was valued even during military campaigns for providing both warmth and satiety.

Boza regained much of its former prestige in the early 19th century. The Palace-Style Boza Vessel takes its form from large silver serving pieces traditionally used in the Ottoman palace household for presentation, known as bozalık—vessels specifically made for serving boza.

This design is inspired by a 19th-century boza vessel decorated with Istanbul-style rose motifs, reflecting the refined ceremonial culture of Ottoman hospitality.

Crafted from handmade glass, the Palace-Style Boza Vessel is decorated entirely by hand: all raised relief patterns are finished with platinum gilding. The floral-motif lid is made of brass with inlay craftsmanship, and completed with a silver-plated finish.
