A Divan refers to handwritten manuscript volumes in which poets of classical Ottoman literature compiled their poems. These works were often presented as gifts to sultans or produced upon royal request, reflecting both literary refinement and the prestige of the court.

In the illuminated heading decoration of an original Divan manuscript from the Bayezid period, motifs such as rumi, hatayi, and stylized tulip flowers were used as ornamental elements, representing the sophisticated aesthetic language of the era.

Crafted from handmade glass, the Divan Vase features raised relief motifs meticulously hand-decorated using 24-carat gold gilding and glass paints, showcasing exceptional artisanal craftsmanship.
