The refined mastery of Seljuk and Ottoman architecture—marked by elegance, monumental craftsmanship, and sophisticated design—has left an enduring imprint on cultural heritage and the universal language of art. Its finest expressions appear on monumental portals, city and palace walls, and the architectural details of mosques and madrasas: courtyards and main entrances, column capitals, minaret balconies, mihrabs, pulpits, fountains, sebils, and ablution fountains. Brought to life through geometric interlaces, intricate knotwork, vegetal ornamentation, animal figures in low and high relief, palmettes, and countless other refined motifs, this stone art tradition also found one of its most powerful non-architectural expressions in tombstones, where stone became a canvas of memory and meaning.

Among Anatolia’s most extraordinary landmarks of stone carving stands the Divrigi Great Mosque, a masterpiece where craftsmanship reaches exceptional depth. Here, artisans carved emotions, hopes, joy, sorrow, and pain into stone as if writing poetry or painting—leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire both the present and the future. This piece is offered as a tribute—honoring the masters of stone craftsmanship and the timeless artistic spirit of the Divrigi Great Mosque.

Inspired by the stone relief ornamentation above the entrance portal of the Divrigi Great Mosque, the Monumental Relief Bowl translates this sculptural language into glass. The same relief patterns were also reflected in the natural marble of Sivrihisar, strengthening the dialogue between architecture, material heritage, and design.

Crafted from handmade smoky green glass, the vase features raised relief motifs meticulously hand-decorated with glass paints, presented with exceptional artisanal craftsmanship.
